Tim Baird Books (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs books.timbaird.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We keep it short and plain.
Who we are

What we collect
- Information you give us. When you sign up for our free activity pages or newsletter, we collect your first name and email address.
- Privacy-friendly analytics. We record aggregate visit data (such as page views and which links are clicked) to understand what’s useful. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we don’t build advertising profiles.
How we use it
- To send you the free download you requested.
- To send occasional emails about new books, videos and activity packs — only if you asked us to.
- To improve the site and our books.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We use a few trusted service providers to run the site and our email:
- Email / marketing platform (GoHighLevel) — stores your contact details and sends our emails.
- Website hosting (Cloudflare) — serves this site.
When you click through to a retailer (Amazon, Etsy) or to YouTube, you leave our site and their own privacy policies apply.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email.
- You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you — just email hello@timbaird.com.
- Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have additional rights; we honour these requests.
Children’s privacy
Our books are for children, but this website and our emails are intended for parents and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we’ll delete it.
Data retention
We keep your contact details for as long as you’re subscribed, and remove them on request or after a long period of inactivity.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above shows when.
